West Side Story was a resounding success with a sold out season. It brought many new young talented people to Whangarei Theatre Company who put on a fantastic show. The expertise of the production team and the wonderful cast gave Whangarei a memorable performance of this timeless show.

RIVERBANK CENTRE RESTORATION

Every family needs to maintain their home and the rule applies equally to the Whangarei Theatre Company family and the Riverbank Centre.

If you've been walking the Hatea Loop recently you will have noticed the large scaffolding and the tent that has been erected over our theatre. This month work commences with the re-roofing and internal restoration of the Riverbank Centre, something that has been needed for a few years now.

Like any member and patron-supported organisation, we rely on your generosity and support to continue our work in the arts in Whangarei. May we please encourage you to consider making a donation to help defray the cost of this major project. The link below will take you a page where you can make a donation to the re-roofing fund.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
